CHARTWELL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Our Preschool Curriculum – The Learning Journey

At Chartwell International Pre-School, we are committed to providing our young learners with a strong foundation for future success. We follow the guidelines for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which sets the standards for ensuring that children learn and develop well, and are kept healthy and safe.

The EYFS promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s school readiness, and provides a broad range of knowledge and skills that serve as the foundation for good future progress through school and life. There are seven areas of learning and development, which are divided into three prime areas and four specific areas. The prime areas include communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development, while the specific areas include literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.

At Chartwell International Pre-School, we recognize that children learn and develop at different rates and in different ways. That’s why we provide a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages each child to learn and grow at their own pace. We believe that all areas of learning and development are equally important and interconnected, and we work closely with parents to ensure that our young learners receive the best possible start in life.
